In response to Mukul Roy's recent announcement of joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and meeting with Amit Shah and JP Nadda, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has made some strong remarks about the former TMC leader.

Speaking to the media, Mamata Banerjee said that Mukul Roy should go somewhere and that his son has made a complaint, based on which the police is currently working. She also hinted at the possibility of Mukul Roy's disappearance being a serious matter and that someone may have threaded them.

It is worth noting that Mukul Roy, who was once a close aide of Mamata Banerjee, had left the TMC in 2017 and joined the BJP. However, he returned to the TMC in 2021 just before the West Bengal Assembly elections. After the TMC's victory in the state elections, there were rumors of a rift between Roy and Banerjee, which culminated in his recent decision to join the BJP once again.

Roy's decision to join the BJP has been seen as a significant blow to the TMC, which is already reeling from several high-profile defections. His exit has also raised questions about the stability of the TMC government in West Bengal.

Meanwhile, the police investigation into the complaint filed by Mukul Roy's son remains ongoing, and no further details have been made public at this time.
